Official celebration of the International Year of Soils

During his stay in the Kingdom of Swaziland, at the invitation of the King Matsie III of Lesotho, the Director-General of FAO together with His Excellency Mr Moses Valakati, Minister for Agriculture of the Kingdom of Swaziland celebrated the International Year of Soils together with farmers and with the presence of UN heads of agencies in Swaziland and government's officials.

Graziano Da Silva attaended a filed trip in the area of Ngwenya in Swaziland and viewed liming of the local soils.
