To mark the International Year of Soil, [email protected] is offering an informative and interactive workshop on soil, that will take a look at the relationship between soil and climate change. Looked at from the ground level, or rather the sub-ground level, the problem we face today can be summed up as too much carbon in our atmosphere and not enough in our soil. Join our expert as he explores this Carbon Conundrum, how it happened, the amounts and rates of change, the broader implications of the problem in terms of our changing climate, depleted soils and food security and the actions that individuals can take to help move towards solutions.
