Soils and regolith: from parent rock to critical resource

The course include hands-on training and experience of several different laboratory techniques including inductively coupled plasma – atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) / inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS); carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen elemental analysis (CHN); X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) each with specialists experienced in the use of these techniques and their application in soil science.
