Healthy and fertile soil is the basis of agriculture but in Benin the soil productivity decreases, because of high pressure on soils (overgrazing, deforestation, urbanization…). It is important to protect soils to avoid social damage (hunger, migrations, conflicts and eventually wars). Sustainable agriculture techniques are a solution.
