GlobalSoilMap Conference 2013
GlobalSoilMap includes experts from all the corners of the world.
It is supported by the International Union of Soil Sciences and many of the world’s leading research and soil science universities and agencies.
GlobalSoilMap is hosting a conference supported by the GlobalSoilMap consortium and node leaders for those involved in producing data and those interested in being involved in any activity of the project.
A primary focus of this conference is to inform the soil science and cognate communities and widen the participation of interested parties/entities, including :
- fellow digital soil mappers and soil scientists generally ;
- end-user ;
- modellers (hydrological, ecological, climatic, economic, sociological…) ;
in bringing the local information to a global audience to solve some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. Potential users of the information from the soil science and wider community are welcome to participate.
