The public is hereby warned that a so-called Dr. Malual Guop Awac with no affiliation to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has been pretending to be a FAO Human Resources Officer in order to obtain payments and personal information from the public through fraudulent personnel recruitment processes.

The following email has been reported to have been used for this fraud: [email protected].

FAO warns the public that these are fraudulent activities and are not official recruitment processes of the Organization. FAO recommends that victims of these fraudulent activities report this fraud to the Police or other relevant national security agency. They may also wish to inform FAO. FAO is not bound by any fraudulent representations or commitments made to any potential applicants.

Anyone interested in working for FAO should note that FAO recruitment processes never seek payments of any sort and do not request personal details, including bank details or passwords, at any point of the recruitment process.
