57th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission

The fifty-seventh session of the United Nations Statistical Commission will take place in person from 3 to 6 March 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The Commission is the highest body in the international statistical system where global statistical standards are considered and approved. The fifty-seventh session of the Commission will include discussions on food and agriculture statistics, progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals, social and demographic statistics, data governance, AI-readiness, environment and climate change statistics, standard classifications, among many other topics.

A series of high-level webinars will be held virtually leading up to the Commission. These virtual side events provide a platform for high-level discussions and will be accompanied by a rich calendar of additional virtual and in-person side events.
