Technical review meeting on the World Programme for the Census of Agriculture 2030 (FAO headquarters, Rome)

The FAO Statistics Division is organizing an expert consultation meeting on the new World Programme for the Census of Agriculture 2030 (WCA 2030). The two-day meeting will include presentations on the main changes from the previous programme and discussions.

Objective

The aim of the hybrid meeting is to gather expert opinion on the first complete draft of the WCA 2030. The meeting followed consultations carried out with stakeholders, including internal users at FAO, and member countries (at FAO Regional Meetings). The WCA 2030 is presented for validation to experts and partners. The conclusions and recommendations of the meeting will provide a critical input to the finalization of the new Programme.

International experts from member countries and international organizations, and technical experts from FAO headquarters and regional offices.
