On 20 October 2025, the global statistical community will unite to celebrate the fourth World Statistics Day, under the theme “Driving change with quality statistics and data for everyone.”

Held every five years, this milestone event highlights how official statistics shape informed decisions, power sustainable development, and improve lives around the world.

This year’s observance is especially meaningful as it coincides with the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, marking eight decades of collective achievements in data-driven development and service to people and the planet.
