Smallholder Competitiveness: Insights From Household Pig Production Systems in Vietnam


This paper examines Vietnamese smallholders’ competitiveness in pig production in terms of internal and external factors such as demand, supply, support services, cost and margin structure, and value added along the chain. The paper proposes policy options for enhancing the productivity of the subsector.
