Training on linking farmers to markets in Africa (French edition)
The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is organizing a training programme in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from 11 to 15 July 2016. The programme will consist of three parts: i) input markets – how can farmers ensure timely and reliable access to inputs and know how to use them? ii) output markets – how can producers obtain access to output markets? and iii) cross-cutting issues such as the development of associations, market information systems, access to financial services, information and communications technology solutions, agricultural policies, and gender integration. The training targets professionals from both the private and public sectors with specific interest in farmer-to-market linkages. Registration fees range from US$ 1,500 to US$ 1,800 depending on the time of registration. More information can be found here.
