FAO's cooperation with Turkey is centered on three priority areas:

  • “Food and Nutrition Security and Food Safety” with a view to improving food quality and safety at all stages in the food chain;
  • Sustainable use of natural resources and raising awareness on climate change impacts;
  • “Institutional Capacity of Public and Private Sectors" enhancement by providing technical assistance for strengthening both public and private sector organizations, developing training programmes and national and international agricultural data for institutions.

The 7th issue of the FAOTURN, and the last issue for 2021, mainly focused on the outputs of the projects that FAO in Turkey had implemented.
