During the COVID-19 public health emergency, the City of New Haven is focused on making sure the most vulnerable residents continue to have reliable access to food. City staff have been working diligently to organize, collaborate, and communicate with various food resource providers across sectors and geographies to ensure that efforts to maintain food provisions are synchronized, informed, and efficient. This webpage showcases concrete tools carried out by the municipality (1) to find food resources in home proximity; (2) to find "grab & go" school meals; for senior to get benefit from meal & food pantry delivery service; (3) to identify opened soup kitchen; (4) to identify available farmers markets; (5) to get benefit from the federal food stamps program (SNAP).
