FAO launches the FAO Framework for the Urban Food Agenda in Brazil


On Thursday 17 September 2020 FAO is launching the Portuguese version of the FAO Framework for the Urban Food Agenda. The virtual event takes place in Brazil, in partnership with Comida do Amanhã.

The FAO Framework intends to serve as a guide to support administrative managers, private sector leaders, non-governmental organizations, academia and other civil society agents so that they adopt attitudes and develop policies, programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening systems in the urban context.

The virtual event will happen in two different sessions and aims to present and discuss de agenda application in Brazilian cities.

The Morning Session, 10-12 AM (CET-3) will kick-off a dialogue in the context of urban food agenda presenting the document. City Halls and Civil Society will also share experiences of good practices with the participants.
