The third session of the 2025 GIAHS Award Ceremony, moderated by Piedad Martín, Deputy Director of FAO’s Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment, featured a vibrant dialogue with community representatives from GIAHS sites in Ecuador, Tunisia, Tanzania, the Republic of Korea, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Mexico. The session highlighted their experiences in safeguarding agricultural heritage, followed by a GIAHS exhibition, cultural performances and a tasting of traditional foods.
