A press conference at FAO headquarters addresses challenges to food security and sustainability in the Near East amid ongoing changes in the region.
The results of the FAO Regional Conference for the Near East are discussed, along with proposals for region-wide strategies. Ministers and senior officials from countries in the Near East and North Africa took part in the 24-28 February Conference.
They endorsed strategies for addressing issues like sustainable water management and reducing food losses and waste in the region.
