NERC 32 - Regional Conference for the Near East

26 February-morningCountries from across the Near East and North Africa region are meeting for the 32nd Regional Conference for the Near East at FAO in Rome. Delegates will focus on the state of food and agriculture in the Near East and North Africa and will examine a strategy for sustainable water management as the Region faces what may be the most severe intensification of water scarcity in its history. The conference will examine ways to reduce food losses and waste in the region, where a significant amount of food being produced is lost along the food chain.
