Join FAO and partners in celebrating the International Day of Forests. The Day’s theme for 2015 is Forests | Climate | Change to highlight the ways in which forests and climate change are linked and the central role that forests can play in its mitigation.

With contributions from partners and video screenings, the event will present important findings on the role of forests in climate change mitigation, based on data from FAO’s Global Forest Resources Assessment and on the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report.
