Plenary Opening and Session 1: “Better Production: Integrated land & water systems for nutrition and food security"

The opening session will provide an overview of current trends and issues in land, soils and water management and governance, and suggested actions to achieve better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life.
Session 1 will examine the inter-linkages between land and water systems in order to optimize food security and nutrition to meet the SDGs. Focus will be on pathways to improve soil, land and water productivity to enhance production while maintaining healthy ecosystems.
