With the United Nations Ocean Conference fast approaching, the Permanent Representatives of Portugal and Kenya, benefiting from FAO’s crucial role in the United Nations system and looking forward to maximizing synergies, are organizing Blue Talks to raise awareness to the Conference.
This roundtable discussion aims at raising awareness and galvanizing high-level participation at the United Nations Ocean Conference. Importantly, it will serve to highlight the leading role the United Nations and in particular FAO are playing, at a very critical juncture for multilateralism, towards the achievement of SDGs through sustainable use of the Oceans. The event will be in English only.
