Global Symposium on Soils and Water

The Global Symposium on Soils and Water (GSOWA23) will be held in a hybrid format from 2 to 5 October 2023. Since 95 percent of our food comes from soils thanks to the essential role of water, understanding the interconnectedness of these two resources is of utmost importance. This science policy symposium aims to: i) Identify knowledge gaps and challenges in managing soil and water ii) Promote sustainable practices that address water scarcity and soil degradation iii) Discuss tools and frameworks for integrated soil and water management.
