Accelerating One Health Action on Antimicrobial Resistance in Agrifood Systems: FAO Council Side Event

Addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) necessitates collaborative efforts across sectors, including agriculture, public health and the environment. In preparation for the 2024 UN General Assembly (UNGA) High-Level Meeting (HLM) on AMR, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the Republic of Kenya, in collaboration with FAO and the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform organize an interactive discussion on the role of agrifood systems in the global efforts to turn the tide of AMR.
