The side event will bring together representatives from Member Nations where the FAO ECTAD projects are implemented, Member Nations interested in establishing FAO ECTAD  projects, resource partners and stakeholders to recognize the work that has been done in terms of emergency response to disease outbreaks, laboratory capacity development, the strengthening of animal health workforces, and the development of relevant national  policy and legislation.
