Discuss how the United Nations Decade on Family Farming can provide a suitable mechanism for the uptake of global instruments and help bring them to the national level. This session will also explore possible pathways on how some selected globally relevant policy instruments, guides and recommendations - developed under the umbrella of the Committee of World Food Security, the United Nations Human Rights Council and other UN governing bodies - can be mainstreamed in national legislative and policy interventions.
