The Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and consistency of food testing worldwide. It develops and sets criteria for analytical methods and sampling used in Codex food standards, collaborates with international organizations to harmonize practices, and reviews proposals from other Codex bodies. The Committee also designates reference methods, addresses technical challenges, and develops sampling plans and guidelines for laboratory quality assurance. This annual meeting will be attended by over 300 delegates.
