This system was created by the African Energy Commission (AFREC) to coordinate Africa’s energy data collection, validation and dissemination at national, regional and continental level. It consists of energy data collection and visualization tools. The system aims to facilitate exchange of energy information amongst African Union Member States, Regional Economic Communities and other key stakeholders.
