WAW programme is structured into three articulated components:  

1) Generating the evidence;

2) Using the evidence for policy purposes;

3) Sharing the evidence.

Mapping family farming component feasibility report describes what could be the third component of the WAW. It aims to "show" family farming and other forms of production according to available data, both existing data and data produced under the programme. It consists in building a common vision of the diversity of the world's forms of agriculture and documenting local dynamics of transformation in order to inform the political debate and help guide investment strategies in favour of family farming. To do this, WAW proposes the creation of an open-source collaborative digital platform whose governance will be shared with WAW's partner entities.
