FRUIT LOGISTICA covers every single sector of the fresh produce business and provides a complete picture of the latest innovations, products and services at every link in the international supply chain. It thus offers superb networking and contact opportunities to the key decision-makers in every sector of the industry.

It therefore provides and important opportunity for the WBF to highlight some of its key activities and achievements. As such,  the WBF will participate actively through three principal activities and events at the fair, which are described in further detail below.

2. 05 February, 15:00-16:00, Hall B/CityCube Berlin: Fresh Produce Forum panel:

The Fresh Produce Forum of Fruit Logistica 2020 is the stage for the central topics of the industry, about the current challenges, about all aspects through the entire value chain.

The WBF will be present through the dedicated panel: Can the banana industry trigger a new era of doing business?

The multi-stakeholder panel will discuss the banana industry efforts for global pre-competitive cooperation in order to achieve economic sustainability. A special focus will be placed on present activities aiming to enable a global approach to the issue of distribution of value and corporate responsability, where the role of diverse stakeholders will be debated.

3. 6 February: Full day event, CityCube Berlin Building, Level 3, Room M4+M5

The WBF will hold a series of panels throughout the day to address the key issues faced by the industry and the solutions provided by the Forum and multi-stakeholder collaborations. Click on the title of the events to get more information on the topics and the panellists.

15:30-17:00: Improving occupational health and safety in the global banana industry – lessons from multi-stakeholder collaboration
