On the occasion of World Food Day 2025, a symposium jointly organized by FAO and Hacettepe University will be held in Ankara. The event will bring together experts to explore global and national perspectives on access to healthy food, sustainable nutrition, and the management of agricultural resources. The programme will feature opening remarks from representatives of FAO, the World Health Organization (WHO), and Hacettepe University, followed by a keynote presentation on global food security.
A panel session entitled “Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future” will bring together leading academics and specialists to share insights. The symposium will conclude with an open discussion and a set of forward-looking recommendations.
