On October 16, 2024, World Food Day was celebrated across Belgium through various media initiatives and public displays. Major train stations, including Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Namur, and Liège, showcased animations and posters to raise awareness about food security. The German-speaking public radio and television station, BRF, aired special spots throughout World Food Week. Additionally, Greek and Cypriot media outlets broadcasted WFD messages, while various Belgian radio stations featured the campaign on the day itself. The events were primarily conducted virtually and through media broadcasts rather than in-person gatherings.
