The event spotlighted their active role in promoting healthy diets in schools, World Food Day activities and engagement with children, extending FAO’s outreach to the United Nations General Assembly. FAO Director-General, Qu Dongyu, joined for the official announcement of their designation as FAO Goodwill Ambassadors, further cementing this partnership as a powerful force for global change.
