Students and alumni of the Dawoodi Bohra community’s MSB Educational Institutes in India and Dubai organised a series of impactful activities to mark World Food Day 2025.
Held under the banner of the community’s global social welfare arm, Project Rise, the initiative brought together students and alumni who established Food Banks at their school premises and raised awareness about food security through poster-making competitions and interactive workshops. The food collected was distributed to less fortunate families and children, turning classrooms into hubs of compassion and action.
"Health is wealth, and the food we choose is our first investment," expressed Young Zahra Kapadia from MSB Educational Institute in Mumbai. "My poster aims to show everyone that adopting a healthy diet isn't about a complete overhaul, but about making those small, smart changes that pay off daily."
This collective effort by young people not only underscored the importance of global solidarity in building a sustainable and food‑secure future, but also reflected the values of care, empathy, and service that lie at the heart of the Dawoodi Bohra community.
