The Thirteenth Plenary Assembly of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) will be held from 3 to 5 June 2025. The Plenary serves as the main platform for FAO Members and GSP partners to come together, exchange knowledge, and share expertise in the field of sustainable soil management.
The 2025 session will start with a Grand Opening marking FAO’s 80th Anniversary and achievements on land and soils. It will feature high-level discussions with high level speakers, global leaders, experts, and policymakers on data, science, innovation, and technology as well as impactful solutions on sustainable management and restoration of land and soil resources.
The event will also feature the exhibit FAO 80 - a legacy of land and soil action for a food secure and resilient tomorrow, with the artist Silvio Coiante creating an artwork to celebrate #FAO80.
