Tajikistan celebrates Mehrgon - its traditional harvest festival - alongside World Food Day 2025 under the global theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”. This special occasion also honors the 80th anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), highlighting shared efforts to build sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agrifood systems. The event brought together government officials, farmers, youth, development partners, and communities to recognize the importance of agricultural heritage, food security, and international solidarity in shaping a better future for all.
