On October 16, 2024, Vietnam commemorated World Food Day with a hybrid event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the United Nations, and FAO. The occasion featured the launch of the Plan for International Cooperation Promotion in Agriculture and Rural Development to 2030, alongside the signing of the Partnership Agreement for Transparent, Responsible and Sustainable Food Systems Transformation in Vietnam. Approximately 150 delegates attended, including government leaders, UN representatives, and civil society stakeholders, fostering collaboration on innovative agrifood systems.
