Organized by FAO and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in honour of World Food Day, this panel will explore how South-South and Triangular Cooperation can support Türkiye in coordinating national efforts to transform agrifood systems. The discussion will highlight Türkiye’s experience in capacity development, technology transfer and institutional strengthening, as well as its contributions to global initiatives such as the Great Green Wall.
Participants will examine the benefits of cross-border cooperation, share innovative partnership models, and address technical issues including land degradation and building resilient fisheries and aquaculture. The session aims to raise awareness of SSTC as a key modality for achieving sustainable, inclusive and resilient food systems in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
