World Food Day

Farmers, fishers, herders, pastoralists, foresters and all small-scale producers are at the heart of agrifood systems transformation. Innovation is about recognizing and strengthening knowledge, practices and ingenuity already rooted in the field, combining traditional wisdom with innovative tools to build resilience, sustain livelihoods and nourish communities today and tomorrow. With the right access to training, finance, innovation and technology, producers can be supported to cultivate enough safe, diverse, and nutritious foods for all.
