الطريق إلى مؤتمر القمة

ثمة ثلاث فعالياتٍ مهّدت الطريق للقمة:

درس منتدى الخبراء الرفيع المستوى بشأن "إطعام العالم في عام 2050" البدائل المتاحة في مجال المتاحة على مستوى السياسات والتي يجدر بالحكومات اعتمادها لكفالة إطعام سكان العالم أجمعين عندما يبلغ عددهم أوجَه بحدود 9.2 مليار نسمة في منصف القرن الحالي.

بحثت لجنة الأمن الغذائي العالمي الإصلاحات التي ستمكّنها من تأدية دور أكثر فاعلية على صعيد الحوكمة العالمية للأمن الغذائي.

موضوع يوم الأغذية العالمي لهذا العام هو تحقيق الأمن الغذائي في وقت الأزمات
