Food waste lab

Did you know that while the World Hunger is on the rise, we are wasting or losing about 1/3 of all the food that we produce? Did you ever think, that as children or young people, you are the consumers that will shape the food waste scenario of the future? Do you want to have a part to play in reducing food loss and waste, not only for the sake of the food but for the resources that go into it?

Then let’s join forces to “Do Good: Save Food!” – take part in the YUNGA Food Waste Lab!

The lab will tell you about economic, social and environmental consequences of wasting food, and advantages of preventing food waste. You will also have a chance to learn about the actions that you can take to reduce food waste and good habits that you can develop and introduce to your friends, families and communities to reduce food waste.
