GUINEA:

Abundant rainfall during the first dekad of May allowed the planting of rice in early May in the south-east. Rains became abundant over the whole country during the second dekad of May and plantings of millet, sorghum, rice and maize are well underway in all areas. Cumulative rainfall as of end of June is slightly above normal.
