GHANA:

Benefiting from abundant rains in May, the planting of millet and sorghum is drawing to an end. Planting of the maize crop has started while planting of rice is well underway in the north. In the south, rice is growing well and the first maize crop planted in March is developing satisfactorily. Rainfall decreased during the first dekad of June over the whole country and remained light and widespread during the second and third dekads.
