COTE D’IVOIRE:

Following abundant rains in May, planting of millet and sorghum is drawing to an end in the north. Rice is being planted in the south-west. The first maize crop planted in March is developing satisfactorily. Rainfall decreased during the first dekad of June over the whole country and remained light during the second and third dekads.
