VOLUME III - DOCUMENTOS DE INVESTIGACION
PREPARATION OF THIS VOLUME
This edition (Volume III) consists of the remainder of the corrected experience papers contributed to the World Scientific Conference on the Biology and Culture of Shrimps and Prawns, held in Mexico City, Mexico, from 12 to 21 June, 1967. The papers were distributed at that time to the participants and authors.
The first volume contained the Report of the Conference, and the review, regional summary and some experience papers were included in the second volume. The subsequent and ultimate issue (Volume IV) will contain the species synopses papers.
The views expressed in the contributions are those of the authors and not necessarily of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
Dr. D.I. Williamson and Mr. R. F. Temple assisted in the editing of some of the contributions and Dr. L.B. Holthuis assisted in the nomenclature.
PREPARATION DU PRESENT VOLUME
La présente édition (Volume III) contient le reste des comptes rendus d'éxperiences présentés à la Conférence scientifique mondiale sur la biologie et l'élevage des crevettes, tenue à Mexico (Mexique) du 12 au 21 juin, 1967. Ces comptes rendus furent alors distribués aux participants et aux auteurs.
Le premier volume contenait le rapport de la Conférence; les exposés généraux, le résumé régional et quelques comptes rendus d'éxpériences furent inclus dans le second volume. Le volume suivant (Volume IV) contiendra les synopsis d'espèces.
Les opinions exprimées dans les communications sont celles des auteurs et ne représentent pas nécessairement celles de l'organisation des Nations Unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture.
M. D.I. Williamson et M. R.F. Temple ont collaboré à la mise au point de certaines des communications et M. L. B. Holthuis a collaboré à la nomenclature.
PREPARACION DE ESTE VOLUMEN
Esta edición (Volumen III) contiene la revisión del resto de los documentos de investigación presentados a la Conferencia Cientifica Mundial sobre Biología y Cultivo de Camarones y Gambas, celebrada en Ciudad de México, México, del 12 al 21 junio de 1967. Estos documentos fueron distribuidos au la fecha mencionada entre los participantes y autores.
El primer volumen contiene el Informe de la Conferencia y el segundo volumen los documentos de reseña, resúmenes regionales y documentos de investigación. El ultimo por salir (Volumen IV) contendrá las sinopsis de especies.
Las opiniones expresadas en los documentos son las de los autores y no reflejan necesariamente las de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación.
El Dr. D. I. Williamson y el Sr. R. F. Temple prestaron su colaboración para la redacción de algunos de los documentos y el Dr. L. B. Holthuis colaboró en la nomenclatura.
