1 The capital stock in agriculture refers to the replacement value in monetary terms (at the end of the year) of tangible fixed assets produced or acquired for repeated use in the agriculture production process over a long period. The estimates of capital stock in agriculture have been derived using physical data on livestock, tractors, irrigated land and land under permanent crops, etc., and the average prices for the year 1995.
