Lamentamos que la fotografía de la portada de Unasylva, Volumen 20 (1-2), números 80-81, saliera con el pie de otra fotografía que debería haber aparecido en el mismo número. El error se corrigió en una impresión posterior. Damos aquí las dos fotografías objeto del error, con sus pies correctos.

Complejo industrial de la Metsäliiton Selluloosa Oy en Aänekoski, Finlandia central.

Entre las fábricas que lo integran figuran una de pasta al sulfato de una capacidad de 100.000 toneladas anuales, una de pasta al sulfito de 60.000 toneladas, una de papel de 22.000 toneladas, una de cartón de 3.000 toneladas, una de pasta mecánica de 20.000 toneladas y una instalación química que produce 6.000 toneladas al ano de productos derivados. Forma parte también del complejo una serrería que produce 10.000 «standards» (1,65 millones de pies cúbicos), y en 1966 empezará a funcionar otra fábrica de cartón con una capacidad de producción de 50.000 toneladas anuales. Se trata de una empresa cooperativa de los propietarios de montes (granjeros) finlandeses, de los que unos 35.000 son accionistas. Este grupo cooperativo posee muchas otras fábricas de transformación de la madera.

Las fábricas de Kaukopää (no representadas en su totalidad en la fotografía) tienen una capacidad total de 650.000 toneladas anuales de pasta al sulfato, 90.000 toneladas de pasta semiquímica, 450.000 toneladas de cartón para forros, 100.000 toneladas de papel, 30.000 «standards» (4,95 millones de pies cúbicos) de madera aserrada 60.000 toneladas de diversos productos químicos y 800 millones de kWh de energía eléctrica. El transporte de la madera a las fábricas se hace principalmente por flotación en atados a lo largo del extenso sistema de Lagos y ríos. El mayor accionista de la Enso-Gutzeit Oy es el Gobierno de Finlandia, pero hay también muchos particulares que tienen intereses en esta empresa.
