LEGISLATION Ivory Coast fishing vessel is defined as a fishing vessel at least half owned by local nationals or by people who are recognized by reciprocal agreement to be equivalent to nationals. -Where vessel belongs to a company, head office must be in Ivory Coast, the chairman of the Board, the General Manager and a majority of the members of the Board must be local nationals or the equivalent, and at least 50% of share capital must be held by local nationals or the equivalent.
