AGREEMENTS
Fishing Agreement between Libya and Egypt signed on 1995

-Egyptian fishermen can operate in Libyan waters, with 20% of the catch share going to Libya and the rest Egypt.
-Number of fishing boats allowed is 25 with 30 fishermen each.
-Total catch of the fleet on each fishing trip is estimated at 250 m.t.
-Species targeted are seabream, pandora, mullet and shrimp.
