POST STOCKING STEPS

After 1 or 2 days of stocking strictly follow the daily manuring schedule

Application:

TEST THE SURVIVAL OF SPAWN

Use a piece of cloth (gamcha) to sieve a portion of the pond and check the survival. 5–7 spawn per haul indicates satisfactory survival.

BOTTOM RAKING

Rake the bottom daily from the following day of stocking

SAMPLING

Sample the stock using hapa and check the survival and growth. After 5–6 days of stocking.

Do not use the fine mesh drag net within 5–10 days of stocking of spawn.
