The following unit costs were utilized during the assessment of the grow-out feasibility of freshwater prawn farming in Sindh province, Pakistan (Appendix 5) and in the construction and operating estimates derived for the establishment of a government freshwater prawn farming hatchery and demonstration farm there (Appendix 7) for TCP/PAK/4559.
The information contained in this appendix has been derived from data obtained during the field mission to Pakistan in December 1995. For each item, examples of past or current costs are provided, together with the derived unit cost used in Appendix 7. The information is presented in six tables:
