The Commission noted the retirement of Mr. John Race (Norway), former Vice-Chairperson of the Commission and former Chairperson of the Codex Committee on Fish and Fishery Products, after 30 years of contribution to the work of the Codex Alimentarius. The Commission expressed its sincere appreciation for the work and devotion of Mr. Race to the goals of the Codex Alimentarius and wished him good health and long life in the years to come.
